The Guild currently has 110/111 members; we had one visitor this month - Kate J.

Mary D. shared information at the meeting about the Nancy Renssela Sampler Class taught by Linda Lautenschlager, of Chessie & Me. Linda discovered the unfinished sampler and tells the history of samplers and motifs. The stitcher then finishes the sampler using chosen motifs; kit includes Lakeside linen and Bell Soie silks. Pending enough interest, Linda will teach the class in Sept. or Oct. of 2012.Sherri Jones, of Patricks Woods, comes this fall to teach "Ring of Roses"; she also includes a lecture about miserly persons.

The Button Lanyard workshop, taught by Guild member, Sherry H. was a lot of fun:
Next month, Marie Z. will give a presentation on "The Jacket Tour" of her trip to London and Scotland.
